So long, farewell!

Okay so as you may have read, I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first ever baby! eeeek so exciting!
As we have alot changing at the moment I haven't been able to update my blog as much as I'd like however, we are moving back to Sheffield, UK to be with our family at this exciting time! We have packed everything up today and we sail on the ferry to Heysham this evening and will drive back to our hometown.

I am going to miss living on the Isle of Man and most of all I'm going to miss my best friend over here Jade Boylan, she has been so lovely to me these past 8 months and made me feel so welcome (plus we have an incredible amount in common and she's a fantastic shopping buddy!)

Jade and I met up on Friday to say our goodbyes and have one last lunch at the Alpine and one last shopping day.
As it's my birthday on 22nd Feb, Jade had bought me some lovely presents which she just so happened to take photos of!

I want to thank Jade lots and lots for my fantabulous presents, they are beautiful and Jade has made my time on the island very memorable and I'm uber grateful!!

Neglect.

I sincerely apologise I have been a very bad blogger recently!
I have been going through alot as we've been having tests and scans and also Im moving back home to Sheffield, UK so we've been trying to get ready for that.
But some pics to show you our growing baby should help you forgive me hehe!



So now I am 13 weeks and 5 glorious days along with my pregnancy and I am being utterly impatient as I want to meet my beautiful baby now!
I will be finding out in March what the sex of the baby is so will update you on that.
And at the moment my blogs will be quite scarce as I mentioned before with us moving home etc so please forgive me and I will update as much as possible over the next few weeks!

Weddings and hair cuts.

So last weekend I went to my dear friend's Tom and Belinda's wedding.
It was a fabulous day and the day before I had decided to get my hair all cut off and restyled. I havent had my hair cut by a hairdresser since I was about 15 and the only style I had was long so I thought 'Lets go for something completely different'.
There are two reasons I decided on short: a) I'm pregnant and shorter hair is so much more manageable especially when I'm suffering from morning sickness. b) I wanted an actual style because my hair was so boring before and just sort of hung there.

Apologies and Announcements.

9 weeks!

First of all, I would like to apologise to the people out there that read my humble little blog. I haven't posted much recently and now I can reveal why:

I'm going to be a mummy!
I've been quite ill with morning sickness for a good few weeks now and I've just been way too unwell to post anything and if I'm honest I had to keep myself away to stop me from telling the world because I'm so so excited!

This is my first baby and I am a mix of emotions at the moment: I'm very happy, excited, scared, etc.
If anyone has any advice about pregnancy or motherhood I would very much like to hear it! I know that Brittany at Va-Voom Vintage is also going to be a mummy again and I've been reading her posts which have been very helpful!

I've had some amazing support from my friends and family since we found out and I am very grateful to everybody. I know its going to be hard but my husband and I have been trying for this for 9 months and I could not be any happier than I am right now. My little family is coming together!
